Summertime and the livin's easy

School as started around here and I guess that means the end of summer. And by the weather thats exactly what you would assume too. Every year I always say "boy where did the summer go?" but this year I really really mean it. I feel like we didn't do anything and that I got nothing accomplished that I had intended too. (see there's those good intentions again) I'm giving you a look at our 2008 Summer. Not only so you can get a little caught up but so I don't feel like I slept the summer away.

* My summer started in May when my mom took me with her to Las Vegas and then New York for a week. Thanks Mom!



* My aunt was in town for over a month so that always means lots of fun and lots to do. Like go to Leavenworth for the weekend.




*After months of waiting and preparing (and did I mention waiting?) we went to Disneyland for a week in the beginning of July. We had a ton of fun with Todd's family...Had a great hotel...Almost too hot of weather...Spent a day at Knott's..And best of all we had Daddy all week to ourselves!






*Went to Birch Bay for the weekend with my parents
*Went to a cool water park in Everett
*Todd and Kyler discovered that they love to go fishing together

*Kaden discovered he is King of the World!

*We went berry picking for the first time. Picked 10lb's of blueberries! At $1.50 a pound you just can't go wrong.


*Nursed Todd through his Spermatoceal surgery. (Look it up if you are curious enough!)
*Went to the lake numerous times
*Hung out on a hot day in our fancy pool and new slip n slide


*Watched the Olympics
*Planted a starter garden (pictures and post about that later)
*Went to the Fair (by myself) and saw Jars of Clay in concert
*Sent Kyler off to boys camp for a week and totally repainted and redecorated his room while he was gone.
*Used our membership to the Science Center

Well maybe we did have a full summer with many things to do! Maybe that explains this picture.....


Here are some things I didn't get accomplished..
*Finish staining the fence
*Finish painting the outside trim
*Finish painting the inside of house (But I am still working on it, it's just not finished yet)
* Go to the Zoo ( Can you believe I didn't go the Zoo! My kids went with the grandparents at least)
* Go to Northwest Trek ( Every year I say I am going to go and yet again...)
* Spend more time camping in Birch Bay
* Organize my closets
* Start Scrapbooking again
* Clean the desk
* Get pregnant

Oh well there's always next year!
